History Behind the PCC
Founded in 1923, the Polish Veterans Community Center of Binghamton has been a cornerstone of connection, culture, and service for U.S. veterans of Polish heritage. Originally established as a gathering place for camaraderie and celebration, the Center quickly became a vibrant hub for community activism and support throughout Central New York.
During World War II, many of our members courageously served overseas, and the Center stood as a beacon of hope, solidarity, and refuge for those who defended our freedom. Over the decades, it has remained a proud symbol of patriotism, resilience, and unity.
Today, the Polish Veterans Community Center continues its mission of fostering community spirit through meaningful outreach. From organizing charitable events to promoting volunteerism, we are dedicated to inspiring hope, spreading goodwill, and championing peace. Join us in celebrating our heritage, honoring our veterans, and building a brighter future together.
